Through the contact form, we collect the name, email address and message you send us, so we can reply to you.
Through the newsletter signup form, we collect only your email address, so we can send you Ki Aikido updates.

Each time a form is submitted, your IP address is read and kept temporarily (the rate-limiting window is 15 minutes, and the actual deletion from server memory happens at the next sweep, within a minute after that; it is never written to disk) solely to limit the number of submissions and prevent automated abuse. We don't use it to identify you, we don't link it to your message, and we don't share it with anyone.
The message you send through the contact form is used exclusively to reply to you, based on our legitimate interest in communicating with people who contact us.
Your newsletter email address is used to send you updates, based on the consent you explicitly give when subscribing; you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email.
Analytics and marketing cookies are used only based on the consent given through the banner shown on your first visit — see the Cookie Policy.
We use Brevo (Sendinblue), a French email marketing platform, to receive contact form messages by email and to manage our newsletter subscriber list; your data (name, email, message) is stored in our Brevo account.
We use Google Tag Manager, which loads only if you've given consent through the cookie banner; through it we activate Google Analytics, Google Ads, and a browsing-tracking tool provided by Brevo. Google and Brevo may process the data collected this way outside the European Economic Area, under their own transfer safeguards.
The site contains an embedded Google Maps map, which loads on every page regardless of your banner choice. Loading it sends Google your IP address, browser type, and the page the request came from — see the Cookie Policy.
We don't sell or rent your data to third parties, and we don't use it for any purpose other than the ones described here.
Messages sent through the contact form are kept for up to 2 years from the date they were sent, so we can pick up a previous conversation if needed.
Your newsletter email address is kept for as long as you stay subscribed; when you unsubscribe it is marked as unsubscribed in Brevo and no longer used to email you, and it is deleted entirely on request, by writing to us at [email protected].
Under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), you have the right to access, rectify, delete, restrict processing, port and object regarding your data, as well as the right to lodge a complaint with the Romanian National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (ANSPDCP).
