The instructor will take care of you, considering that you’re a beginner, and the first lesson will be an introductory one. So, you don’t need to worry about not understanding or interrupting anyone.
It’s important to understand what is practised in a Ki Aikido dojo, which is why we believe it’s better to actively participate in the first training session rather than just watching.
For your first training session, make sure to bring a pair of slippers and a T-shirt with sports trousers. You should also arrive 15–20 minutes earlier to meet the instructor and get changed.
Before coming to the dojo, check the class schedule and choose which instructor you’d like to sign up with, based on your availability. It would be a good idea to speak with the instructor beforehand, so they know to expect you before the class starts.
